Jan’s Top Properties

Every Home Has A Story To Tell. I'm Telling Yours.

“Jan’s Top Picks” featured properties:  These are my current listing inventory in Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, and Fountain Hills.  These properties are unique and in superior locations.

I have found in my nearly 19 years of marketing luxury homes that every home has a different story I’m telling.  Sellers are transitioning or making a move and have numerous memories to share about their experiences in these homes.  I look forward to being the “matchmaker” to find the right buyer who appreciates the home’s story.  It’s a home, not a house that I’m selling.

It’s exciting for me when a Seller shares their “story” of their home.  Take a look at the video at the top of this area and listen to my very excited Seller about the incredible story of her home located in Paradise Valley.

Check this page often for homes that are “coming soon.”  I delight in preparing a home for the market via carefully selected photography, floors plans and a detailed marketing strategy for your home.  Your home can become a “Jan’s Top Picks” home too.

What Buyers Want in 2019

Comfort and Low Maintenance

It’s easy to see why these homes are “Jan’s Top Picks!”

You are better to choose a home’s decor based on the things you love, rather than the things you read about.  That’s what I think is special about the listing at http://www.7307NBlackrockTrail.com It’s low maintenance with specimen lush landscaping plants.

Home trends can come at god but Jan’s Top Picks always includes properties with thoughtful design.  Buyers are looking for greener, healthier homes tailored for comfort and want finishes and features that arena’s a lot of work to maintain.

Jan’s Top Picks of comfort details: soft hugs, cozy furnishings, and updates that include technology upgrades.  Today’s home buyer is more interested in enjoying the home spending less time on maintenance and cleaning.

Buyer’s want functional floor plans and en suite baths for all bedrooms is a plus.  Timeless design and architecture never goes out of style.  A great floor plan will sell faster and often is more forgiving even if the property is ‘not” updated.  Kitchens that open to great rooms are popular as the central hub of the home.  White cabinetry in kitchens is still popular and timeless.  Countertops are favored in “quartz” for functionality and ease of maintenance.  Jan’s Top Pick homes often possess the most classic and timeless upgrades and floor plans.

Another example of low maintenance lock and leave living is the gorgeous home 9428 N. Longfeather in guard-gated Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Fountain Hills.  This home has two separate master suites (one upstairs, and one downstairs), plus a dedicated office and private guest suite.  Beautifully located on the 10th hole of the Eagle Mountain Golf Course, makes this a “Jan’s Top Picks” home to enjoy stunning sunsets and more.

Market Forecast for 2019:

What’s the market forecast for 2019?  There is some good news on the horizon.  Although there is expected market challenges due to fewer home sales in the lower tier of the market, the market is expected to be more balanced in 2019.  Home price appreciation should be more “moderate” and mortgages rates should stabilize.  The home buyer should expect less volatility next year although Sellers prepare for a competitive market.  It’s important for Sellers to price accurately (see Jan’s Top Picks).
